Dream Guard

The Dream Guard are Valareth's personal elite Kindred guard. They are equal blends of beauty and danger as a show of honor and strength.
Allanna Voltaire is the captain of the Dream Guard and direct progeny of Valareth. A stunningly beautiful and deadly gladiator with wild silver hair, she was embraced at the age of 53. She personally selects females of the finest fighting potential to embrace into the Dream Guard.
Their ranks consist of a maximum of 18 Dream Guards, layered across three tiers. Six each as in-training, reserve and primary. It is a rare event and of the highest honor to have Valareth assign a pair of Dream Guards to assist a Kindred, Vampire Clans or Vampire Covenants directly.

Vampire Covenants

It is rare in Kindred society that a Covenant will accept any type of dual membership between other Covenants. Being a member of the Dream Guard seems to grant the special perk of allowing membership within both the Order of the Dragon and the Templars. However the Dreams Guards while trained of both Covenants do not appear to be active in either of them. It is speculated that they are not members as such but weapons forged of both Covenants by the hand of Valareth.

Arms & Armor

Each member of the Dream Guard appears unarmed and unarmored, however with supernatural speed they can call upon the twin forces of Vitae and Rage. Being trained of the secrets of the Order of the Dragon bring the fury of the beast to the surface directing it at any enemy, granting them superior strength, agility and endurance. Being training in the Blood Sorceries of the Templars they can summon blades of twisted Vitae from nowhere. Their bodies are protected by powerful blood wards that do not hinder their movement.

Discerning Eyes

The Dream Guards intercept anyone or any gifts presented in audience with Valareth. It is said that they can spot subterfuge and deception with a glance. The stares of six Dream Guards is enough to unnerve the the strongest Kindred.
