Conferrence

Dryads curse and gods bless, yet both of them are the same magic. How's that?

Conferrence is one of the 4 subbranches of the Abjuration branch in the Manipulation school. It is the magic of giving conditions, known usually as curses and blessings, to other people. This is a rare difficult magic that only powerful people can try to learn albeit its more known as magic from supernatural creatures (such as Dryads) and gods.

Casting

Conferrence spells are complex and wild; they require a lot of concentration as well as preparation to lower the amount of side effects they might give but it's known that there will always be at least some sort of side effect if casted by an Ithakill, as this magic is believed to be "pure", and with Ithakill casters not being considered pure  beings, it is what causes the corruption (also known as side effects). While Conferrence encompasses both the so called curses and blessings, the magic is not considered neither good or bad.

To cast a spell, the caster must weave into the spell what it's going to do, including what effects will it bring, what is the condition for the spell to be broken (otherwise it's permanent and will cost much more mana), and restrictive measures to try to lower the side effects. The spells tend to be big mana drains and seem to leave a connection between the caster and the receiver. Depending on the effects (the planned ones, no the side effects) a spell is usually unofficially classified as a curse or a blessing, albeit sometimes, if one of them has side effects that are bigger than the main effect, they might be considered to be in the other category as the main effect and the side effect might get confused.

When the spell is cast upon the receiver, the second one will receive a curse or blessing based on the spell cast that will take form as a condition. The condition needs to be powered by mana and will take mana from the surroundings of the receiver, or in rare cases from the receiver's mana storage or even rarer from the caster's mana storage. Unlike other magic schools, Conferrence requires raw mana to function and thus taps into the surrounding storages it can find, whether from air or other bodies. It is possible that the condition breaks on its own if the receiver is in a zone with no mana and they don't have any more mana stored, leaving the condition to starve and eventually break -- This is a highly dangerous method of breaking a condition as it risks the receiver's health.

What's known?

Because of its rare and expensive nature, most of the knowledge known of the Conferrence magic is from the seen effects on a receiver's. The casting of it is rare to learn as it requires a strong mage who manages to learn a Conferrence spell on their own (or by learning from supernatural creatures and/or gods). There have been no progress on Conferrence nor new spells created for a long time (at least that is recorded) as the process of creating spells has apparently never been recorded and the few amount of people being able to cast it limits it's progress.

Spells that are known from the Conferrence school are extensively recorded, especially the condition they cause and what the condition causes. Unfortunately, most recorded spells cause the spells known as curses rather than the blessings.

I really like that in your magic system curses and blessings are the same type of magic. That's really fun.   Also I love you have a hover effect on the different font text. Really useful.

I also like that they are both the same thing, sounded fun to make and so far, it's been fun! I'm glad you thought the hover effect is useful! I don't tend to use handwriting like fonts because I know they tire the sight and can make one struggle to read, so it felt a must to give an option to read it in normal text font.

This is an interesting mechanisms for curses/blessings! So the caster always need to be affected in some way, and then through the link, this transfer the effect to the target? Is that why the person in the last section didn't burn themselves?

The person in the last section isn't performing "common" conferrence spells. Usually, a conferrence spell will leave alone the caster once it has been implemented to the target, with a couple of exceptions. As the person demonstrated, the caster and the target can stay linked if the spell says so (or if a side effect causes so), but the caster doesn't usually needs to be affected.
