Red and Black Collars, the Castes working for the Conglomerates, are obliged to conform to Corpo Rule. Thus far, most of them have been born into it, so it is their absolute reality and no one even considers opposing it. Corpo Rule dictates the following mandatory directives:
- The Laborer must provide unlimited Service to the Firm as required for the Greater Good.
- The Laborer will be rewarded for their Service according to the position held, regardless of the duration of labor or any other factors.
- The Laborer must attend work every weekday, even when unwell, in which case they will be administered appropriate medication.
- The Laborer may not receive formal or informal education on any topics other than their field of expertise for which they have been employed by the Firm.
- The Laborer must keep the Firm informed of their location, even when not on duty.
- The Laborer must keep the Firm informed of any social and emotional connections they have, in and outside the Firm.
Failure to abide by the rules leads to immediate expulsion from the Firm. The Collars lose their homes and access to corporation-provided goods and services, and they are forced to live within the
Catharsis Wall.
