Shaa, Goddess of Youth
Shaa is the child of Ebra, Goddess of Motherhood and Omjir, God of Leadership. She is the one who Ghana, Goddess of Life gifted the Garden of the Gods to as both playground and place to learn as she grows up.
Most of Shaa's stories are based in the times of her childhood, as they are great stories to tell to kids to teach them the skills and knowledge they will need in life. Shaa is most popular with children, particularly with the younger children aged below five. When children play together, eat with family or do chores, they believe Shaa is there with them. Hence, when children are told to share, Shaa is always given her split.
Popular tales for children and adults are the ones which tell scenes of Ebra & Shaa. These stories tell the upbringing of Shaa, which is often referred to by mothers whose daughters are to bear their first child. Shaa represents the youth of childhood and what it is like to be a child growing up, to become an adult.
