Session 6: Heist 1 - Fiona Wynne

Our heros delved into the dream palace of Captain Fiona Wynne, witnessing her inner secrets and uncovered a tale from her childhood, all while learning their new roles within the dream state.

Our heroes maneuvered throught Fiona's home on the coast of the Gilded Alliance, a fortified keep where she lived with her mother and her sister, who had been away from home for a few years. Their family's advisor insisted that Fiona be barred from entering the Merchant Marine academy, for fear of the family's business operations going under without a leader. Their father had died and now someone else needed to take charge of the family business.
Aeða, witnessing the argument, interjected saying that there must be another way to resolve the conflict, offering the idea that Fiona's sister could take on the business instead.
While the family was quarreling in the main hall, the other Dream Thieves snuck through the grounds trying to capture the treasure. Gervil met with the family's priest in the chapel behind the house and decided to shapeshift into his form in order to make the rest of the house more accessible.
Zanuriel and Torentous teamed up and in the end were able to open 2 of the three chests. They discovered a construct boy being whipped by a groundskeeper and attempted to defend him from further punishment. There was a daring battle on the castle tower parapet, and our heroes succeeded!
As the hunt for the treasure continued, Aeða met with Fiona's sister and discovered a deadly plot brewing. Suddenly, Fiona's sister was joined by a mercenary who began attacking the family! A fight to protect Fiona ensued, and the heroes began their dashing escape. They reached the exit in the nick of time.
Once out of the dream, Gildur congratulated the heroes on their first successful heist, even with the complications of the job, they managed to access some valueable information they wouldn't have gathered other wise. Their next assignment was to recapture the ancestral home of the Dream Thieves: Riverwind.
Riverwind is a form of lodging for the dream thieves and is accessed using a magical device, but this item now lays with the defeated team that went missing weeks ago. Gildur had sent the Dream Thieves on assingment to uncover more about The Moonlight Collective, but they never returned. He recommended the heroes discover where the Dream Thieves had gone and to venture out to that location and retrieve the key to Riverwind.
Our heroes arrived in Union, capital city of the Guilded Alliance, where they began finding their bearings for how to gather the information they needed to continue their journey.
Azriel met with a local merchant and bought sanctuary spell scroll and curiously small banana. He then overheard torrentous' conversation with the armature about the wilted thicket/thieves guild.
Aeða made a new song with another bard, then got pickpocketed and engaged in pursuit of the pick pocket onto the roof. A fight broke out and both fell off the roof, Aeða then proceeded to brutally murder the pickpocket by shoving carrots down her throat and beating her with the lute.
Someone from the fighters guild came over to try to calm Aeða but she then killed him with some carrots down his throat as well.
Torrentous accidently entered the fighters guild when he tried to help Aeða get the pickpocket. He was able to guess the password so they allowed him to stay.
Zanuriel was asking around and got info, then went to look at the tree and got bit by a snake, a surprisingly painless bite. He let the snake join him for a walk around the city, still wrapped around his neck.
Gervil entered an abandoned home to discover a fey flower had taken over the inside of the building. She asked for Parcifal, but with no knowledge of their whereabouts, the flower grew angry and consumed Gervil!
