Chinook

Chinook is primarily an affordable residential area where the working class of Driftriver can find apartment and tenement housing. Chinook sits atop the flat grasslands extending west from Driftriver. Named for the warm north-western wind that blows into the city from the distant Anauroch desert and is amplified by the tall and blocky buildings, creating a wind tunnel effect in the streets, Chinook is a comfortable district. Most Chinook residents work service jobs in Atka Markets or at Lahaina docks.
