Downtown Driftriver is the heart of business in the bustling boom town of Driftriver. Skilled craftsmen work their trade, weaving fine clothing, carving fine furniture and smithing all manner of metals from tin to steel. Downtown is a busy place in the daytime, but the many laborers quickly leave the district as the sun sets, returning to their nearby homes in Montz and Eweford. Downtown Driftriver also has the greatest number of emergency shelters, and during the frequent Mistrises the citizens are encouraged to shelter in this central district for safety.

Grand Plaza
The Grand Plaza of Driftriver is a fairly open area with stone walkways and careful landscaping. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants the plaza is a common lunch stop for workers in Downtown Driftriver, as well as a common place for parades and festivals overflowing from nearby Elcho. In times of emergency citizens will find the largest and most secure shelters underneath the Grand Plaza, which are well defended by the nearby guards of Hilliard.
