Lahaina
The Lahaina Docks district of Driftriver is a densely packed district filled with warehouses, supply wholesalers, cheap lodgings and cheap eateries. Designed to welcome, host and entertain the crews of ships traveling up and down the Ashaba River the Lahaina district is seen as an oasis of respite for travel-weary sailors.
The Lahaina Marina is nothing short of a water park. Often one of the first attractions seen by visitors to the city as they travel up, down or across the Ashaba river the flashy speed-boats, elegant swan boats and enormous ferris wheel are quick to draw eyes.
Captain Darren’s Fancy Ferry
Shipping out of the Marina to Northbank on a regular schedule, Captain Darren’s Fancy Ferry is a tourist attraction in which patrons receive first class service and a guided tour across the Ashaba River. While advertised as being something only upper-class patrons can afford the tickets are surprisingly affordable. The ferry is known for having an ongoing feud with the mysterious Patchsail Pirates, a group of goblin pirates who come after the wealth of the ferry’s patrons. The Patchsail Pirates always seem to escape capture by the authorities, despite being wanted criminals.
S.S. Spearhead (Estate)
Along the River Ashaba sails a vessel flanked by wakes of red. The vessel glows with dim lantern light as mugs clash. Another successful raid always ends in a night of drinking. The vessel floats along the river always hunting for new places to paint in blood. The vessel maned mostly by orcs is the only naval force that operates out of Driftriver purely for offensive maneuvers.
