Rumain Deities

"There's a Rumain deity for that."
-- A common saying among scholars.
The Rumain people had a vast number of deities who they venerated. Some of these were deities with a vast number of elements and concepts under their purview, while others were deities of seemingly inconsequential things like footwear, welcome mats or glass bottles.

Though the Rumain Empire's dominion over western Ereb is broken, the influence of Rumain beliefs is yet noticeable across many lands. Even in lands whose own pantheons have replaced the Empires, many grand temples of worship are of Rumain origin.

The Venerable Twelve

Among the vast number of Rumain deities are twelve to whom the Empire paid particular respect to. This group of gods and goddesses are known as The Venerable Twelve. The thirteenth among them is Gera Miris, who is venerated only in his temples, and only by his clerics. The god of silence does not enjoy celebration of his name or deeds.
