Personal history
Calvin was born to a single mother Viola Clein. Viola's powers do not match Calvin's powers so he assumes it comes from his biological father who ran away and presumably died. He lived in New Manhattan and attended Midtown High. Calvin was the captain of his High School's metahuman sport working with and dating his vice-captain Florence Gorden. At the age of 9, he was adopted by Irene Fairfield. His mother was killed by Hydra, in front of Calvin and he was not strong enough to stop him. Viola's death motivates Calvin to become a hero, get revenge on Hydra, and rid the world of villains. Calvin's best friends are his step-brother Sean Fairfield and Nico Smith. They are the only people his age he respects and likes.
