Amy Carter
Amy Carter was a high school classmate and longtime friend of Veronica Silver and Desiree Emerson. She played clarinet for the Chelmsford High School band and was well-known for wearing a flannel of her father’s that she almost never took off.
In her senior year, she fell head over heels in love with The Neanderthal. The resulting relationship, which warped Amy’s priorities in Veronica’s opinion, distanced Amy from Vern and Des. Sadly, Amy and her beau were killed in a drunk driving accident before graduation. Amy’s mother passed Amy’s flannel on to Veronica, a garment which Vern has treasured ever since as a connection to her lost friend.
