Tig
Located in the Northern Jungle, Tig is home to the Treegnomes, a mainly-druidic race of Gnomes that live high in a enormous tree they call a Hometree.
One of three such cities perches atop the trees Tig is the largest, sporting a vast array of cultural and natural exports. They rarely trade with anyone but other Treegnomes, but when they do, you’ll find their craftsmanship is among the best in the world.
Ruled by a council, led by a Gnome they call “The Root”.
The root is specially chosen as a gnome that is seen to have the greatest connection with nature. When the previous root dies, he or she takes his place on the center chair in the council hall. Once the new Root has taken his or her place, they magically and physically bond with the tree, forever tied in a symbiotic relationship where the tree provides awareness of the forest surrounding it, and the Root provides protection through his or her command of the rest of the tribe.

Government
Governed by a Gnome selected to bond with the Hometree itself, aided by a council of the eldest gnomes in the city. The Root bonds with a Hometree for life and upon his deathbed names the next Gnome that the tree has selected to take the seat.
Infrastructure
The tree itself is about 1 mile wide and several hundred tall, with a large flat base that has been naturally grown around the trunk at the top, leaving plenty of space for the city to expand and live in. At four equidistant points around this platform is 4 lift stations, providing elevation devices that carry people from the bottom to the top and vice versa.
Architecture
The buildings are simple wooden structures, barely houses in their own right, but they have no need to be strong, as the thick and voluminous branches of the home tree protect them from the elements.
Geography
The Hometree of Tig rests in the middle of the dense jungles of the Canopic Verd. It is almost indistinguishable from any other trees from above and provides a natural defense against any ground based enemies/predators.
