WorldEmber Pledge 2022

World

Eivrall is a project for a series of books I am writing. Creating an extensive setting allows me to write multiple books that can be unrelated, without the need to create a new world each time. With that, Eivrall will be the focus for World Ember 2022.

Focus

I am seeking to finish developing the foundation of all the nations and sapient species of my world. With how intricately woven my world is, this foundation will allow me to finally start working on the nitty gritty details relevant to my plot. I am also seeking to develop and publish the character pages for the main characters in my book.

Goals

By having all the nations and species developed, I will be able to start working on the diplomatic relations and roles of various species in my book. By developing the character profiles, I will have a solid image in my mind of who my characters are and how best to express their voice in my books.

Results

I'm fairly pleased with what I managed to achieve for World Ember. I was on a roll in the very beginning, but then my daughter ended up getting sick for 8 days , my grandmother passed away , and I accidentally deleted two of my most important articles , one of which was my (private) article with all my pre-configured BBCode and CSS to article layouts. So that's how I got to end World Ember.

Anyways, I'm one of those people that likes to see how I grow over time, so I'm putting the links to the articles I created during WE'22 below and I can't wait to do better next year!
