Law Punishment Icon
For Breaching the Sanctity of the Island (Naomhthacht na hOileáin)
Inhabitants: Violators are subjected to a period of exile to a barren realm, where they must undertake a pilgrimage of penance, reconnecting with the natural world and its cycles outside the divine sanctuary of Tir na nOg. This exile serves as a time for reflection on the importance of harmony and balance.   Divine: Deities found guilty of this transgression are stripped of their divine powers temporarily, forced to live as mortals on Tir na nOg until they can demonstrate true understanding and respect for the balance they disrupted. This period of powerlessness is a humbling experience, meant to remind them of the sanctity they are sworn to protect.
For Failing to Protect Heritage (Caomhnú Oidhreachta)
Inhabitants: Those who neglect or desecrate the cultural and historical legacies of Tir na nOg are assigned to guardianship duties, tasked with the restoration and preservation of heritage sites or artifacts. This servitude is indefinite, lasting until they prove their commitment to the realm's history and culture.   Divine: A deity neglecting their heritage faces confinement within the Realm of Memories, a dimension where they are surrounded by the echoes of the past they disregarded. They remain there until they can understand the value of what they failed to protect, learning to cherish and uphold the realm’s history.
