Niran Dhanintra (a.k.a. Nini)
Niran Dhanintra is a creator who sees the world through patterns and textures. As a skilled weaver and textile artist, his works are both beautiful and functional, adorned with symbols and designs that tell stories from his heritage. Niran’s approach to his craft is meticulous, and he often loses himself in the meditative process of weaving, where every thread has its place. His garments are not just clothing but expressions of his cultural history, blending ancient techniques with modern aesthetics.
Beyond the loom, Niran is also passionate about the traditional dances of his people. He views dance as a form of meditation, a way to connect with the energy of the world around him. In Tir na nOg, Niran has taught many others these dances, finding joy in the shared experience of movement and rhythm. Although soft-spoken, Niran’s work speaks volumes, and his attention to detail and craftsmanship inspire those around him to pursue their own creative paths with the same level of dedication and passion.
