Pacific Ocean
The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest of the Earth's oceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, bounded by Asia and Australia on the west and the Americas on the east. Over the last 5000 years, it has been a crucial route for migration, trade, and cultural exchange, particularly with the advent of oceanic navigation. Its vast expanse houses a diverse array of ecosystems and species, some of which are yet to be discovered.
