1510 July 19 - Florence, Italy
As the sun sets on my final day in Florence, I find myself at the Arno's edge, thoughts as reflective as the water below. My time with Botticelli has been a window into a world in transition. We shared a last cup of wine, our conversation a gentle ebb of nostalgia and acceptance. In his eyes, I saw the acceptance of change, the graceful surrender to time's relentless march. As I bid him farewell, there was a mutual understanding, an unspoken connection between two souls from different realms, united by our transient dance through this world.
