1960 June 16 – Los Angeles, USA
Dear Diary, prepare for a fab entry 'cause Tak's about to twist and shout with the legendary Beatles!
Landed in Los Angeles, just in time for a Beatles concert. The air was electric, buzzing with excitement and the sweet sound of 'Yellow Submarine' playing in the background. And guess who snagged a backstage pass? That's right, yours truly!
Backstage was like stepping into another world – a kaleidoscope of colors, sounds, and the unmistakable aura of rock 'n' roll legends. There he was, John Lennon, the man, the myth, the legend, strumming his guitar like he was weaving magic. John had this sharp wit and a way with words that could leave you spellbound. We chatted about music, life, and the universe.
The air was thick with the scent of incense and something a bit more... herbal. The vibe was laid-back, almost dreamlike, as if we were all floating in our own little yellow submarine.
As the night wore on, we shared laughs, stories, and maybe a little more of that herbal essence. John and his girlfriend, with their bohemian spirit and infectious energy, showed me the heart of the '60s – a place where music wasn't just sound, but a movement, a way of life.
It was a night of surreal encounters, of diving deep into the minds of musical geniuses. As I left, the first light of dawn breaking over the city, I felt like I'd been part of something historic, something out of this world.
