Necromancy

Necromancy in Estya does not involve resurrection, as such as feat is not possible, but it is instead the summoning of souls from Gehenna. Necromancy is restricted to Dark Sorcerers with number of -90 or lower, and summon spirits cannot be done without both the consent of the spirit and a means for it to exist in the world.   Reflective surfaces such as mirrors or lakes are best served for this purpose, though if enough dark magic in concentrated in a small enough area, spirits can be summoned to walk and interact with Estya like anyone else, though they are at the mercy of the necromancer's concentration and Well of Magic in order to remain for any length of time.

Effect

If properly cast, Necromancy will summon the spirit called for and either contain them within a reflective surface or allow them to walk among the living.

Manifestation

Spirits are translucent white or black humanoids that take the appearance of the mortal they were in life, and are usually recognizable as the original person. They can speak, feel emotions, and effectively exist as a truly immortal form of Estyans. The spirit is undying, but their time on Estya is generally short, as it is limited to the power of the sorcerer that summoned them.

Necromancy taps into a dark magic-user's own Well of Magic to cast and channel, and is one of the most powerful feats that can be performed by Estyans.
