Mariner's District

The Mariner's district main purpose to the city is, as implied by the name, as a source of labor to run the fisheries in the subterranean and out in the lake. It also serves as a gateway to The Trench unincorporated IdPari zone, which is basically where people live if they have been exiled from society, or if they object to it. There's a stigma attached to this, worse than being an Outlander, exacerbated by the fact that, once you're off the main strip, most of it is governed by families whose claim to power is through violence and favor curried towards it.
