Pall March
A Pall March is an unseen stampede of Echos passing through a region and leaving behind immense auric (and thus, psychic) trauma until Exorcised.
Though initially believed to be anomalous and random, civilization eventually came to understand that meta's patterns and behaviors cause it to act as a sort of esoteric ecosystem, and a lack of control over it results in unhappier cities adding Pall Marches to the ecosystem which might wander unseen for thousands of miles before reliably ending up at another city far away.
