Treya Alessi
Human, about 2 years younger than Amity. Short black hair that comes to her chin, with clear grey eyes that are nearly, but not quite, blue.
Was 17 when they met and 23 now. Family lives in the poor quarter, but she roams a lot, and with her collection of stolen clothing and talent for bluffing, can easily fake being of a higher class - for a few hours, anyway. Taught Amity lockpicking. Together they engaged in a lot of petty theft and trespassing, stealing for fun rather than need (think when you go shoplifting with Bea in Night in the Woods). Probably has a dedicated gang of loyal young people, all poorer. Amity doesn't really understand the difference between how she's living (choosing to not work, stealing, and crashing on peoples' couches until they get tired of her presence) and being forced into poverty by circumstance. They probably get in trouble with the law for something small enough, and while they're still young enough, to face no real serious repercussions. Community service, maybe, if reparative justice is a thing in Riverpuddle.
Treya and Amity were good friends for about three years before Amity started being "too busy" with her job at Osma's and her new friends in the Noble's Quarter to make time, and eventually Treya stopped coming by.
