Achia

Achia is a large island country in the north of the shattered continent of Caia. It is a land of harsh polar tundra and thick boreal forests, with rough and rocky coastlines. The Ilwyrikan Sea to its north freezes over for half the year, forming a land bridge to the country of Ilwyrika, allowing for expanded trade and diplomacy.
Achia only became an official country in the past few decades, and does not yet have a stable form of government. The inhabitants of Achia still see themselves as separate entities than as unified people.
