The Ember is Fellgrove's temple of Elian, the Ruler of Fire. It is a squat stone building that butts up against the edge of the forest, and is the most ornate and decorated building in town.
Unlike many temples dedicated to the Elemental Monarch, the Ember has become the heart of Fellgrove's community. Three hundred years ago, it even had an extra wing built onto it to accommodate non-religious community activities.
The most important room in the temple is the chamber of the Eternal Flame. The Eternal Flame is a fire that has been burning since the temple was built centuries ago. Priests of Elian are careful not to let this fire go out, for great disaster is sure to follow.
