The Sekaalese

People of orchards and ocean

The island of Sekaal is part of a volcanic island chain known as the Cluster, which is governed over by the Assembly. Being the inhabitants of one of the smaller islands, the Sekaalese have little power in the government, and for several years there have been underground rumblings of independence.   The Sekaalese are mostly farmers and fishermen, making their living off the land and ocean. The warm seas around Sekaal are rich with fish and shellfish, and the soil is rich and fertile. Sekaal is particularly famous for its nut orchards, with their product exported all over the Cluster.   They worship a god called Kizsir.
