The island of Vale is located a few hundred miles off the northeastern coast of Serukis. It is covered in thick and twisted ancient forests, the vegetation too thick to traverse in many places. The majority of the settlements on Vale cling to the edge of the forests, between the trees and the high cliffs of the coast.
Vale has no official government, with most of the villages on the island having formed their own loose hierarchies. It has a haunted, dangerous reputation, and most sailors avoid coming close.
