She was like thunder, but at the same time light drizzle. She came and went as she wished, and you never really knew where you had her. Her words were sweet as the afternoon sun, and gentle as the dawn. Although she never did any physical harm, her words could be like knives, cutting through the very foundation of your being. But she was distant. You couldn't really get to know her, no matter how hard you tried. Whether it was intentional or not, she was all over the place, and sometimes too much. People found it hard to stay with her. Most people enjoyed her company, but only for some time. You can't relate to someone you don't understand. She changed her mind like the wind changes direction, and so did her destination. Because you never knew where you had her and where she had you, she was alone. Charm, charisma and words like honey didn't matter if you couldn't get close to people. She did seem happy, though. Or was that only because I didn't know her?
