Divine Magic

Long into the ancient days gone by, have the common folk of Everus prayed to gods for guidance, luck and blessing. The gods, always looking to assist those who are devout, responded. Sometimes in small ways, like granting bountiful harvests or causing a surprising bout of luck. Other times, they offer those most devout the opportunity to assist themselves.
Divine Magic, also known as Divinity and Divination among other names, is granted after a priest or cleric prays for an hour when they wake up from a fulfilling rest. These 'spells' are then stored in the priest's mind and can be released at will.

Manifestation

Through the application of religious gestures, symbology and chants, a priest's stored spells can be released. They usually appear as pale blue or yellow lights or flames, but the energies releases are often quite varied.

Localization

Divine powers are localized to mainly clergymen, people who have served in a church, or particularly devout commoners. People who are non-religious are generally considered to be incapable of learning priestly spells.
