Dark Vengeance Scenario 6 - A New Direction

You slink back into Karolis, a little the worse for wear and still without any appreciable leads on the Black Knight. The information that led you into the Bar Nol turned out to be an ambush, and it cost time, personnel, and material. You have little doubt the Black Knight made sure that you received that information.   Karolis feels different. The patrons of the Bored Raven are brimming with gossip. The situation has grown worse, and fear of the Black Knight has spread far and wide.
The price on the Black Knight’s head has grown as well. It seems that every day the Black Knight lives, the bounty on their head goes up. A representative from your Patron was waiting for you at the Bored Raven, drinks in hand, with news that your pay was going to increase if only you could bring in the Black Knight.
They also have another piece of information for you. This information has been circulating around the nobility and indicates that one of the Freeblades killed in the attack on the caravan was the daughter of a local noble, Sir Tal Amasor.
Your Patron believes that you should at least pay Amasol a visit and ask a few questions. There’s no reason to believe that he is hostile, and rumor has it that he had been petitioning King Mundar III of Haradel to do something about his daughter’s death.
Sir Amasol’s Estate sits in the foothills of the Bar Mahn. It’s a bit of a slog, but your patron believes that if you hurry you can get their before other Freebands. He does caution you, however, that these rumors were available to many people, and that you may not be the first to act on them.
