High Questor of Glareyn

A High Questor of Haradel is a proven knight who most likely succeeded in several minor quests but must have accomplished at least one quest at the direct request of one of the Gods. Most knights wishing to become High Questors have traveled to the main temple of the goddess Ailea in Falkaar. There in her temple the knight prays until he is granted a vision from the goddess of truth. The goddess will often show the knight a way to right an ancient wrong. Once chosen for the quest, knights often adjust their heraldry to add a symbol of the god or goddess they are serving. This symbol marks them for the quest and opens all doors in Haradel, for to help a quester is to help the gods. After a quest’s success, many say the knight no longer needs a heraldic symbol, for the light of their righteousness can be seen blazing in their eyes.   In Bretan, the northernmost stronghold of Haradel, the old ways run deep in the hearts of her warriors. Here, the knights known as the “Bears of Bretan” hold back the Urdaggar every day and worship Glareyn in her ancient bear form. In battle, these "Bears" are a fearsome sight to behold. They are fully armored and wield two war axes in a whirlwind of death and destruction.   https://www.dgsgames.com/bear-of-bretan/
