Korlok Sharpfang is a Wolf Tribe Chieftain and is currently patrolling the valley that leads to the Nine Falls area. Every year one powerful leader is given the responsibility of keeping interlopers away from the sacred falls, keeping it once and for all for the Urdaggar people. The responsibility is shared among all tribes, with each tribe taking the honor one year out of an eighteen year cycle.
Korlok is especially violent and cunning, even for a Wolf Tribe Chieftain. He earned his reputation during a dispute with the Spider Tribe. He ambushed and destroyed an entire village before the inhabitants could even mount a defense. Rather than face further ruthlessness, the Spider Tribe backed down from their claims and retreated into the lairs.
Because of his part in the defense of Nine Falls from both a demon incursion and an onslaught of treasure hunters, Korlok is seen as a leading figure among the Wolf Tribe clans. His reputation to be ruthless is a wordless threat against his enemies, and they keep a wide berth if they know that Korlok is around.
Patron Special Rule: Relentless. All faction heroes in a Freeband with Korlok as its Patron gain the use of Die Hard once per encounter in addition to any similar effects.
