Much feared amongst his peers and enemies, Letazin Krastos leads the respected Jaguar Legion. His reputation as the most ruthless and unorthodox commander is well earned.
Letazin is one of the few in Traazorite upper command who did not gain officer rank in the Legions through the Officer’s Academy. Most Traazorite officers are recruited from the sons of the upper echelon of Traazorite society. Not Letazin.
Letazin was born to a poor family of farmers. From an early age his soul screamed to escape from an agrarian existence, and the Legions provided him that avenue. He ran away to join at the age of sixteen years, and he has never looked back.
Letazin’s early career reads like a legend from old. In battle after battle Letazin was commended for his bravery, his ferocity in the field of battle, and for his personal leadership.
Defying the traditional route of an officer, Letazin was given battlefield promotion after battlefield promotion until he had joined the ranks of academy-trained officers. Letazin faced a lot of scrutiny and doubt from his fellow officers, who had all come by their places through the officer’s academy.
Letazin’s actions quickly silenced his doubters as he led his command to victory after victory through unorthodox strategy, quick response to enemy actions, and an intuitive command of the battlefield.
Letazin’s first legion command was in the far south where an insurrection against the Empire threatened to disrupt grain shipments to the northern part of the Empire. Letazin led his legion against these rebels and utterly destroyed them over the course of a season.
His accomplishments in putting down the rebellion cemented his reputation among the higher military command. When the commander of the Jaguar Legion was killed by an Eclipse assassin, Letazin Krastos was the natural choice to succeed him.
Letazin has now led his new legion onto the Traazorite’s uneasy border with Mershael. There he has been sparring with the Mershael border armies while keeping his men battle ready and his tactics fresh.

Freebands containing an Eclipse model may not select Krastos as a patron.
Patron Special Rule: Master Strategist. After all models have deployed but before any infiltration moves, a freeband with Krastos as patron may move up to two (total) objectives, NPCs and/or loot markers up to 2” each in any direction, not ending in impassable terrain.
