Skrot

Skrots are dog-like creatures with a bony carapace and animal-level intelligence. They are not dangerous except in numbers, but it would seem they only appear in numbers. They are also small enough to enter into Faelon by way of the Gengmarl (sym. gate-staff) that each Azalakar carries.
