There are many paths to becoming a great warrior among the Urdaggar. The typical fledgling is called an Unproven. They bear this label until he or she can show bravery and valor in combat. They carry a shield and long spear into battle where they fight alongside their Karls and other heroes, eager to win honor and distinction among their clan.
