Personal history
Aidan Hutz was born in 930 to Hestia Herada, an Ananan actress and Stobal Hutz, a Favontile film producer. His parents met while working on a production. Prior to his birth, Hestia had had twins, Hanna and Hannan with her previous partner, Han Marisa, but Hanna had died aged 8. Too sick to look after Hannan, Hestia allowed her neighbour at the time, Aeryn DeSteffen to adopt him. Hannan was 17 by the time of Aidan's birth and Hestia had lived in a different district of Ibaleban for 9 years. Consequentially, Aidan grew up not knowing his half-brother.
When he was ten his parents divorced and his father remarried Laniesti Hutz. At the age of 11, The Purge happened. Aidan and his mother had stayed inside to protect themselves, but a Nightwalker enetered their home. Hestia stood between their attacker and her son and was killed. The bullet also penetrated Aidan's stomach and he was taken to hospital by his father.
Following The Purge, Stobal Hutz moved his family to their new home in Paget. He also brought with him Hannan Marisa, who became known solely by his nickname of Magan from this point forwards. Though Aidan and Magan were aware of their familial relationship, prior to this they had never properly met. Aside from his father, Aidan had no blood relatives remaining and sought to establish a relationship, while Magan preferred to keep some professional distance.
Aidan attended the school in Paget where he excelled in graphic design. To protect his identity, he was taught to consider Laniesti Hutz as his true mother and not to speak Anana. He learnt to treat Magan as a slave and buried his Ananan roots completely. Aidan then went to study graphic design at Esprite University. Aware that he was no longer under the yoke of his 'mother' he started to express his Ananan side.
Intellectual Characteristics
Aidan's personality type is the advocate (INFJ). He is idealistic and principled and though often shy wants to stand up and defend those who can not. He feels different from those around him and struggles to fit in. Regardless of what is socially expected, he has his own set of principles to which he adheres.
Morality & Philosophy
Aidan is equipped with high morals. As a young child and adult, he often felt too shy to challenge those who did not share his principles, but when he learns that he can state his opinion, first with his father and later with his mother, he becomes more confident in his convictions

Motivation
- To do good and find good in the world. His mother's sacrifice has given him a desire to honor her memory, and he hopes to do so by helping others in some small way.
- To embrace his Ananan roots, and to do so publically one day. It is of great shame to him that he must hide and pretend otherwise.
- To fall in love, marry and partake in standard family practice. He is a romantic at heart and deeply desires a family.
- To have his family be proud of him. He wants recognition from Stobal, Laniesti and Magan.
- To become a great artist and use his skills to inspire others.
To prove his worth as an Ananan and to do good, he invests in the freedom fighter group Saorsa giving them money, time, and lodgings. This commitment he tries to balance at the same time with finding a partner and studying at university.

As part of forging his identity as an Ananan, Aidan will refer to himself as A Farana but his actual connection to his faith is very haphazard and is based more on his personal belief than doctrine.
Social Aptitude
Aidan is shy and introverted, prefering the comfort of his own mind, however he desperately seeks approval and friendship from others. He prefers to dedicate his friendship to one person at a time and is very loyal. He is an excellent listener and warm and sensitive to others. Equally, though, he prefers not to let others in, for fear they might learn his 'secret.' Consequentially, he can appear withdrawn.

He likes to daydream and will spend significant amounts of time pondering relationships, dreams, ideas and other abstract thoughts.
Hobbies & Pets
Aidan loves to express himself creatively through art, writing, photography and film, but he keep these personal expression very private and only reveals to others work that is more generic or has commercial value.
Speech
He is careful and deliberate in his speech, only revealling what he wants others to know. Most will say they've never heard him swear or use any kind of idiom or catch phrase. His accent is slightly northern, but his voice is so mild it is hard to tell.
Relationships
History
A complex dynamic characterises the relationship between Hannan and Aidan. Despite being half-brothers, they only meet when Hannan is taken captive by Stobal Hutz, and both know each other under the alias of Magan. Driven by the desire to avoid punishment, Hannan maintains a polite and civil demeanour with Aidan but deliberately avoids forming a deeper familial connection. On the other hand, Aidan yearns for a genuine bond and connection with Hannan, longing for a relationship that transcends their forced circumstances.
History
A mix of emotions, history, and struggles marks the complex relationship between Aidan and Stobal. As father and son, their connection is significant, but challenges have strained it. During vital years, Stobal's career pursuits distanced him from Aidan, causing estrangement. Aidan sought approval, feeling neglected due to Stobal's filmmaking focus. Despite this, Aidan admired Stobal's creativity, aspiring to his storytelling world. Their strained bond evolved when Aidan learned of Stobal's cruel treatment of Hannan, undermining his role model image. In 948, Aidan cut ties, realising the toxicity and distancing himself from Stobal's manipulative legacy.
