Mystic Hybrid

A hybrid can come about in many ways. Perhaps they encountered a being from beyond the stars or mad mage who experimented on them, or they came into contact with an artifact that twisted their form, or maybe they completed the process on themselves. Whatever origin, a mystic hybrid’s biological enhancements change its appearance drastically, though most hybrids retain their basic physical form. All are augmented with characteristics of animals, mostly aquatic, reptilian, or amphibian creatures. While these changes frequently lead hybrids to be shunned by wider society, they also provide greater strength, agility, and endurance. Depending on the origin of the hybrid, they may be on a quest to find who made them and undo it, or be looking to further their experiments and improve themselves further.
