Temple of Nairedes

Though pirates and sailors aren’t traditionally the most devout folk, all give worship to Nairedes, Goddess of the Sea. The temple to Nairedes in Bastion Bay is situated in an airy sea cave near the beach. The stone floor has been crafted to be tiered, allowing the ocean to gently flow into the lower tier while still keeping the upper tier cool and dry. Simple circular stone windows (more holes than anything) have been carved into the cave wall, allowing for the cool sea breeze to blow in. Numerous gulls and other sea birds have made nests here and worshippers have been known to leave with their clothes stained by the bird's own “offerings”.
