Music and stage performances are a vital part of community life. Whether it's one person playing a mouth organ or a traveling company presenting the complate works of the Bard, the people who bring entertainment are welcome breaks in the otherwise eternal routine.

You either play a musical insttrument or sing for a living.

You either act in stage plays or perform dramatic readings.
Skills and Training
If this is your first term in any career, take all of the Career Skills at level-0 as your "basic training". If a skill is already at level-0 or higher, it does not get increased. If this is not your first term overall, but it is your first term as an Entertainer, you may take any one Career Skill at level-0.

Events
Roll on the Mishap Table, but you don't have to change careers.
You are called upon to perform an unfamilar piece without notice. Roll an average Art check. If you succeed, you're automatically promoted. If you fail, you do not get to roll for promotion this term.
There's an extra week of sold-out performances. Earn an additional $50.
Romances between performers are not uncommon. You have one this term that works out well for both of you. It was never going to be a lifelong relationship, but you've remained friends. Gain an Ally.
You end up doing a lot of traveling this term. Gain a level in Animals (Handling) or Drive.
Roll on the Life Event Table.
A member of the audience comes by after a performance to say how much they enjoyed it. You end up having a late dinner and then talking well into the night. Gain a Contact.
An eccentric performer teaches you old stage lore. Increase one of the Career Skills by +1.
Your performance received a rave review in a major newspaper. +1 REP.
One of the works that you wrote has become quite popular. +1 SOC.
Your selection for the night proved to be more controversial than one might have reasonably expected and a quick departure from town was necessary. Gain +1 Animal or Drive.
Mishaps
If a mishap occurs, the term ends before completion. Do not roll for an end of term benefit or cash. Roll 1D /2 to determine how many years the term lasted.
Injured. Roll on the Injury Table.
Someone has stolen your instrument/costumes/scripts/music/etc. If you can afford $150, you can continue your career next term. Either way, do not roll for a benefit or cash this term.
You are accused of stealing the box office reciepts. It's (probably) not true, but the accusation has gotten you fired.
You're an exotic artiste. They were an adoring fan. How were you to know that they were married to someone who could get you blackballed across the entire region? -1 SOC
The building where you were performing burned down. You lose all of your gear and barely escape with your life.
A series of thefts have been blamed upon you. A quick trial means that your next term is as a prisoner.
