Soldier
A soldier might serve in the US Army, the Confederate Army, or a foreign army. All soldiers must be male. If he attended the military academy, he automatically joins as an officer. Characters with a college or medical school education may attempt a commission roll to begin a war term as an officer. Any soldier who serves in the Confederate Army has their military career end when the war ends. He receives no Mustering Out benefit for that term.
