Phingin
You cursed monkey, give me back my coin!
Involuntary Workout
The Phingin's favourite hobby is to steal money from the streets, and putting the rightful owners through a workout to get it all back. Using their long fingers, one Phingin of the group pilfers a victim, usually grabbing some coin or something else of little value. With their four nimble legs, they can climb and swing with ease as they run away. This game of person and phingin can go on for quite some time, depending on the fun these little creatures have with their quarry. While most people are annoyed by these creatures, they are never truly mad at them. In playgrounds, children love to run after them trying to catch one which keeps them fit in turn. They don't hurt the kids in any way, unless they are actually hurt. In those cases, the worst they do is biting with their stomp teeth, never leaving more than a scratch."That blistering phingin," Max hisses and he darts after the little creature. Fortunately, he is an avid climber, so the usual tricks of getting up a roof won't work for the phingin.
Or so he taught.
After what feels like half an hour of climbing and scrambling, Max finds the phingin sitting on top of a large pipe with its friends. There is nothing near that allows him to climb up there. How in the world can he get his dinner money back?
A sigh of exhaustion leaves his mouth. Max pads his pockets and finds a little trinket he found during his travels. As a last faint attempt, he puts the small engraved stick on the ground in front of him.
"Want to trade? My money, for my trinket."
Can I teach one to pickpocket and give me the treasures? xD
I don't see why you cannot XD Although it might take some times with these critters, and you'd need at least three to five phingins ^^ They work best in a group after all.
