Following the arrival of the Halcyon Blade, a sword said to be capable of bringing peace to the world, the Lukanians (the most recent settlers of Lumsk) have endured long conflicts trying to get hold of it.   Whether it has been the suppression of the Fumas and Marlinian people or border skirmishes/subterfuge against the technologically superior Arkaiins, Lukania has become a military nation and one that is well versed in war.   The rise of Field Marshal Zalk however threatens to change the Lukanian way of life as he attempts to make amends for the atrocities the Lukanians have bestowed upon the rest of the continent.   Working towards diplomacy and his own projects, Zalk has established a new order, building fortifications to defend from attacks rather than weaponry to instigate and has created a council of experts and prodigies to ensure the continuation of his legacy.   All is not well however, coming up to the dawn of 1066, the northern border towns of Lukania have been put under siege by a large group of Marlinian separatists, bringing a conflict to the Lukanian people.
