The Frille Domain

Known mostly, for it's lush gardens and flowing streams, Frille is among the most powerful domains in the mountains. It is largely an agricultural village, that thrives off of trading. The first thing often noticed by visitors is the river flowing through the center of town, bordered on both sides by bushes, cut into all kinds of shapes. The second is the mighty cattle grown in the castle, that feed off the grass deemed unfit to be part of the gardens.

Demographics

120 regular citizens, 3 water concordants, 1 verdant concordant, 1 ranger. As for Monsters: Verdant affinity monsters, Bullistics and Hamsteer often spawn in this region.

Government

Frille is controlled completely by its king and his family, who are all binders. Other citizens serve vital roles in the village, such as teaching, working with the cattle, gardening, cleaning, cooking or working as merhcants.

Defences

Frille is largely defended by the King's three daughters. They are water concordants who work with the monsters found in the river. They can often be found on or near the river, and have reacted to invasions in the past in a most brutal fashion.

Industry & Trade

The most important export of Frille is produce, followed closely by livestock. The vast majority of commoners in Frille tend to the farms build on the outskirts of the castle. The most common import for Frille is minerals, which they use to make work tools, and are hoping to start using to build larger and more stable housing.

Infrastructure

The largest building in Frille is the castle, surrounded by a mote. Within the mote lies the gardens of Frille, which are filled with animals and monsters alike. On the outskirts of the castle, lie small huts, in which the other villages live.

Assets

Amongst the huts beyond the castle is the famous: "Merry Dell's shoppe of goods" which is the largest market in the mountains. This is where all locals and some foreigners get their food. Recently, Dell has begun to sell other items beyond simply food though. Signing a contract with some of the few alchemists and drajulecrafters in the mountains, this is one of the few stores to sell items for Binders, and a common stop on the travels of young binfers.

History

Frille is a recently created domain. The castle has long been in the area, but it was not until two binders moved in that a village began to spring up around it. King Frille arrived at the castle after a decade of working as the 'practical use' instructor at the esteemed "mystica university" and together with a former student, founded Frille. Using their powers, they soon had established a great farm which they ran. The first few citizens of Frille were more employees than subjects, but as more people were drawn towards the castle, King Fril worked to build housing. Unfortunately, no architect has yet arrived to Frille to aid the town.

Architecture

While the castle is a magnificent building, constructed to be stable and a powerful bastion against attack, with minerals powerful enough to withstand even monster attacks, most of the citizens live in what could generously be called huts, and more realistically be called tents.
