Murmur

Murmurs are Bards trained in the bardic School of Whispers. They protect and police Bards on Inquest ensuring they are safe from unjust prosecution. Getting involved with the School of Whispers is considered a great social blunder in bardic circles. They are trained at the Bards College in Belvenille according to Bardic Tradition.

Provided Support

The School of Whispers supports its wards through many means. The most common Aid is legal representation or but can also include physical or magical protection. In some rare cases the School of Whispers fielded a sizeable partisan army. This ability is kept as an open-secret.

Identification

As the Name suggests a Murmur is heavily invested in keeping its presence secret, staying in the background and avoiding attention. Through special magic ingrained in every Bard at during their education, a Murmur can identify herself to another Bard if the occasion requires it.

There are publicly known Murmurs whose identities are certified by the to handle tasks that require primarily working overt.
