Clan Leader Bannik Bronzemantle
Ink etches paper as an older
Dwarf signs piles of paperwork, the procedures of his
Kingdom required so that his family can trade and continue their life's work. His hand has begun to cramp throughout the hours of reading and signing, his signature becoming more ink-blotted as the sun sinks through the window, casting his office in shadow. This is the life of a clan and village leader. Without his time spent here, fulfilling this role, the forges would not fire nor the craftsmen receive their materials.
As the sun finally sets, he lays down his quill. Dinner awaits him at the home of his brother
Thurgrim and his brother's wife
Vastraela. The family will eat, drink, and be merry for a few hours before the children retire to bed and the elders return to the forges for a few more minutes. It is this time with his family he covets, sharing meals with the children, teaching them the ways of the
Bronzemantle Clan, and opening their eyes to the opportunities their world affords them.
Bannik will spend a few wonderful hours sweating in the forges alongside his brothers, crafting the intricate items of the
Master Dwarves, but soon the sun will rise again. He will return to his office, quill in hand, ready to sign the paperwork from the
Sapphire City that allows his brothers and the children to continue their trades. Without his quill,
Tholladur would grind to a halt, but the ache in his hand and the long nights in the forge are worth it for the future.
Social
Aww, he sounds lovely and warm.
