Where heroes eat for breakfast, dinner, and midnight snacks. You fight evil and we fight the munchies.— Kamina
The sound of a braying donkey floats through the small town of
Harkin, stopping children and merchants in their steps. In a place surrounded by
Traveler's Grass, few venture out without the aid of
Dinosaurs, even fewer still dare to travel with something as small as a donkey.
Pockets and coin pouches are emptied as the villagers head towards the gate, hoping to catch a glimpse of the traveler and his donkey that they all have come to know well over the past months. The aroma of warm bread and cooked meats waft towards them as the crowd grows, marking the arrival of
Kamina and his trusted companion
Heehaw.
No one knows where this man came from. He appeared one day with a group of
Adventurers out of the thick grass, the noise of his cart and donkey being heard above the din of the town. The thick smells of his savory foods blanketed the town, and when Lord
Nizz paid the stranger for a pastry, the town flocked to the cart, filling their bellies and emptying their pockets until nothing remained of
Kamina's stock.
The Impossible Cart
In the months that
Kamina and
Heehaw have established their sales in
Harkin, stories and rumors have been passed around of the impossible nature of traveling through the
Great Plains with such fragile transport. Many have plied the man for his secrets, questioning what magic or wards allowed him to travel through the land of
Dinosaurs and
Goblins with nary a scratch on either him or his cart.
Kamina refuses to share his secrets but often says that his travels are all up to luck and a small bit of technique, a line he often utters while his fingers grip the grappling hook at his belt. Other
Adventurers and caravans that have traveled with him have tried to quell the rumors by noting that he does nothing unusual during their travels, but the rumors still remain of
Kamina and his impossible cart.
"...throwing flaming tarts and other pastries at those that dared attack him." This is the best mental image ever! Kamina has won such a special place in my heart for this. This vehicle has definitely brought my joy.
