A black Minotaur drifts into the shadows, hiding as deftly as a well-trained Rogue. His size and armor should make his swift and silent movements nearly impossible, but it is a tool of his trade, one that he has practiced and honed, much like his other skills. He is known as a terror with a blade, his brutish ways of fighting extremely effective against his targets. Even with this, he still blends into the darker places of cities and villages, swiftly completing his job so he can take his bounty.
Zanus Zambith is a hand for hire, a bounty hunter of nearly unmatched skill. His size and weapon of choice allow him to take down even the biggest of targets, an ability that is in short supply when compared to the small, agile Rogues that are often the bounty hunters of the Northern Continent. When a job becomes too large or in need of muscle, the silent Minotaur is the one called for the job.
His standard targets are often Orcs, Goliaths, and sometimes Giants, those brutally trained fighters that could easily dispatch a group of Rogues with a single swing of a great axe. With his longsword and his chain mail, Zanus looks more like a soldier of some great army, prepared for a war instead of a single stealth mission. This is why he is effective, his appearance is deceiving, catching even the most intelligent of targets off guard.
The life of a bounty hunter leads to many places, although it is often a lonely existence. Even the best find their interest dwindling, the thrill of the hunt no longer enough to sate a burning hunger for a challenge. Sometimes it's a side job or a change in pace, but even the most deadly find that they must busy themselves in some other way at points.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Zanus is large for a Minotaur, but that does not keep him from keeping a very clean and sleek appearance that allows him to blend into the shadows when needed.
Body Features
He is a very muscular individual, having few scars. The scars he does have are well hidden by his sleek hair, which he likes to keep clean and trimmed.
Facial Features
Compared to others of his kind, Zanus sports large horns, often used in battle. He is also known for the large chrome ring that hangs from his nose that he keeps polished to a shine.
Apparel & Accessories
His apparel changes frequently based upon where he is. He tends to buy clothes from local shops, using that to help him blend in. Sometimes he keeps these clothes after a job, but often he gives them away so as to not be burdened by extra weight during his travels.

The life of a bounty hunter is one that often lacks steady employment, but due to the variety of targets that Zanus is known for taking on, the contracts he is given are nearly constant. Very rarely is he given a break from his contracted jobs. This has changed recently as he has decided to take on a job from Fire & Gold, Inc. through the Dagger Guild.
Failures & Embarrassments
Failure for a bounty hunter usually means a lack of payment. This is something that Zanus tries to keep from happening, but there have been instances where a target has slipped away from him and he has had to return empty handed to whoever contracted him. Failure has only occurred a handful of times, but it is almost an embarrassment to Zanus' record of success.
Mental Trauma
Not all targets and contracts are simple. Some involve bloodshed and horrible things that would cause even the most battle-hardened warrior to shy away from the topic. Memories of these marks leaves Zanus awaking in a cold sweat, nightmares of these contracts a vicious cycle that he must relive.

Motivation
The greatest motivation he has is to rid the world of those that have committed heinous crimes. Through his job as a bounty hunter, he believes that he can make the world a better place while also helping those in need.

Zanus is very particular about hygiene, spending free hours cleaning his equipment and himself. While he doesn't keep everything immaculate, he believes he should always be clean and look his best.
