Few things are more frightening than disconnection.

How terrifying is it, when that disconnection comes after three thousand and five hundred years of constant symbiosis? It is not given to Books to imagine. I don't have to, the evidence is clear. After the threat of disconnection became a reality to the resurrected Icarus and Leander, Icarus reformed the stars to be heard even one last time by their brother.

Purpose

To reach beyond the stars and the veil of the Cosmos and find Leander. Even if this was the last words Icarus ever got to say.

Historical Details

Background

After Lou was lost to the cosmic mistake of Bardaga, Icarus searched for a method to communicate with their brother. This led to the monumentally important aeon shaping development of Stellar Radio technology, which for the first time, has the potential to connect all Realms in instantaneous communication.

Public Reaction

This momentous occasion in history went completely unknown by Midgard's humans, and by the Mystic Folk at large. Only a scant few in Kopis Industries are aware of the project, even fewer understand the truth:

In order to bring their brother home, Icarus destroyed the barrier between dimensions and the stars.

To this day, the workings of Stellar Radio are a proprietary secret of Kopis Industries, and the Judge.

Legacy

The efforts Icarus took to send this missive opened up communication between Bardaga and Midgard, but also between Realms in a way no divinity or human had known before. A network of stars was created, their services acquired through Icarus' tearful negotiation and dogged refusal to give up getting their brother back.

This is the first known two-way real-time inter-realm communication system in the Cosmos.

I was wrong when I said I didn't need you anymore. I was being dramatic and thought your life's perfect when you don't have to worry about me, you have friends and an Enomotia of your own and maybe they're better. I told you I moved on and I didn't. I told you I was old enough to handle everything on my own. It was a lie, as bold-faced as the thirteenth time we tried defeating Cerberus.

I miss you every day, so Amita Psyche and I found a way to communicate through the stars. This one's gonna burn out soon, and she wanted to make her last glimmers meaningful and what's more meaningful than reuniting family separated by dimensional vortices or spacetime by strange brutal magic idiots?

So I'm reaching out, I found a way and I'm using science, not magic so don't fret. I won't get caught using magic on Midgard, not that I could anyway I don't have the knack.

Sera's got a lead with Finnegan. We're working to get you out, and get you home proper. Whole. So hold out you giant musclehead! Don't you dare die out there, or... or I'll call Thanatos for that favour and neither of us like what that means. But if I can't fix the portal, if all we got is a communication line through a dying star, I'll take it if it means you're a word or three closer.
