Galactic Accord
The Galactic Accord is a governing body of allied star systems that all vote to determine rules, settle disputes, and enforce laws across alliance space. It fields a law enforcement and military branch intending to enforce peace.
The Galactic Accord is financially backed by its allied systems, each contributing resources and personnel to define and enforce peacemaking with safe trade, well-defined territories, common sentient rights, and security.
Four primary chambers handle the following affairs: Trade, Security, Diplomacy, and Resource management. These chambers are responsible for creating policies for their respective jurisdictions that ensure their primary responsibilities are met. These responsibilities are determined by the Galactic Accord Directorate, which serves as a central authority responsible for coordinating and overseeing the functioning of the four branches.
