Aspect

As the gods died during the Dragon and Diety War they left behind the essence of their domain upon the world. For example, the god of agriculture and herding would leave behind the ability for domestication of animals and plants, farming, good weather, rainfall, and seasons. This allowed for the powers of divine magic to continue. As users worshipped, used or began to believe in the domain of that god, the essence became stronger.
Aspects are the source of all divine magic. When enough people begin to worship a true believer of the religion, that believer can become a minor god in their own right. This requires a large number of devote believers, and that the true believer is really a follower of that aspect.
Currently there are no demigods who have been created among the Displaced, nor are there any true believers with enough followers, or strong enough followers to make this happen. However, the followers of death, undead, and necromancy are becoming stronger. As they study the past works of older civilizations, they are learning how to access a vast range of new magics and ritual abilities. In the near future, a god of death may be born as there are a couple of strong necromancers who are looked up to by the followers of death.
In addition, there are a large number of followers of nature in its various forms. At this point in time, they do not have a strong leader with a large number of followers.
