Magictech

Magictech is the next iteration of magic once magic is no longer magic. It is the fusion of science with the understanding of magic to create items of amazing potential and power. Using known formulas and manipulation of matter and magical energies in known ways, the Nethen created a whole new advanced world. They could power their world and provide light, heat, and transportation easily with but a word or gesture.   The Nethen peoples understood the magic of Karenth on a level that it was no longer magic, but the science of harnessing magical energy inn known ways. They created items of power to make life better, cure ailments easily, and to defend themselves from their enemies. They tamed the wilds around them.
Inventor(s)
The Nethen people of Karenth learned to harness magic on a scientific level allowing them to build and control items to help their people.
Access & Availability
Items of magictech were readilly available to the populace of the Nethen. Most people only owned a handful of items, usually a couple of glowballs, a simple healing rod, a mini pocket portal, where they stored their possessions, and a communications stone.   Transportation gates were created linking all of the major cities to each other, and sometimes gates were created allowing for travel from one side of the city to the other. Gates varied in size, some were meant for individuals and others allowed for entire vehicles loaded with resources to be moved.   The military had vastly more items at its disposal. They had ranged and melee weapons enchanted for one reason on another. Many soldiers hand magical armor that was hardened with magic to help ward off blows or magical elemental effects such as fire or cold.
Discovery
The discovery of magictech was not one magical and insperational moment. Tens of thousands of years of reasearch went into the study of magic by the generations of Nethen, and their ancestors to get to a point when the magical eneries could be precisely controled and channeled on a level necessary to fully manipulate the magic.
